Here I develop and maintain the current Institute Web site (along with a fist-full of others); act as a campus consultant for design, usability, accessibility, and implementation; and monitor and evaluate emerging Internet technology. I'm housed in the Institute Communications and Public Affairs office, and get to work with the biggest collection of capable and intelligent people I've ever met. No...really...I'm not kidding!

ART & PUBLICATION PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

Tallahassee, Florida [ 1998—1999 ]

Humm...now as a Florida grad, this was a particularly difficult position to hold, but I picked up a few valuable skills (and paycheque) here, and got to work with some really excellent people. At FSU, I assisted in the development, construction, and maintenance of the 2+2 Program and other University Web sites; developed graphics and contents for direct and Web presentation; and did other multimedia stuff as needed.

Fargo...yes, it was cold...but fantastic. A much cooler (pun!) city than the movie made it out to be. I was simultaneously doing the graduate school thing, in Psychology, but managed to be a part of the following: developed, designed, & constructed North Dakota NIH IDeA Center Web site; revised and assembled NDSU Department of Psychology Web site; developed, designed, and constructed instructional Web site for Dr. Mark Nawrot (good man); manipulated digital media for lecture presentations; responsible for Macintosh systems configuration and networking in Vision Lab; gave individualised instruction on HTML; and a bunch of other stuff. It's all rather blurry, actually...
